Angel Unigwe Breaks Silence, Neglects Kanayo's Threat to Blacklist Her

Angel Unigwe, a teenage Nollywood actress, has broken her silence, collecting admiration and condemnation when her elder

colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo, accused her and her mother of causing unexpected problems on his set. Kanayo accused Unigwe of breaching the contract in a social media

post, according to GistLover. Kanayo claimed that Mrs Juliet Unigwe, the young actress's mother and manager, refused to let her daughter to carry out their agreement

during a recent production. He claimed that the youngster's mother is "fond of botching productions" by removing her daughter from sets.

While many fans expected Angel Unigwe to reply to the criticism, she chose to promote

her current film on her page. Her statement generated a wide range of reactions, with

her film guru, Omoni Oboli, and another actress, Mercy Kenneth, expressing support.

When a netizen brought up Kanayo's threat to blacklist her, she sidestepped the topic and focused on her movie marketing. A fan also prayed for her to get through this difficult phase in her film career, and she generously answered. Among the praise and encouragement, several more crowded the comment area, imploring her to make amends. This comes after movie producers and actors Stanley OnTop and Izutech took to social media to support Kanayo's assertions that Angel Unigwe and her mother are causing issues for filmmakers in the industry.
