Ruby Ojiakor reiterated rumours of an affair with Junior Pope following his tragic
passing. The rumours originated because she supported justice following his on-set
injury. Junior Pope's wife unfollowed Ruby on Instagram following his burial, furthering the rumours. However, Ruby denied the
rumours in an Instagram video, stating that Junior Pope was never her boyfriend. She
further clarified that he is not the father of her child, Royalty, therefore putting an end to rumours about their relationship.
Ruby Ojiakor said:
Junior Pope was never my boyfriend. There is no intimacy between me and
Junior Pope. We've never dated. Junior Pope was never an intimate friend. He
was only a friend. He was more than just a friend. He was my big brother. I also
notice a lot of posts, which some people would simply screenshot and give to me,
saying, 'Look at what they're saying, they said he [Junior Pope] is Royalty's father.' I just looked at it and laughed. How can
people suggest like this? Please note that Junior Pope is not the father of Royalty.
He is not my daughter's father. I just wanted to clarify something.
