Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, sparked controversy with a recent cryptic post ahead of his colleague Davido's wedding to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland. Davido announced a few days ago that he and Chioma would marry on June 25 in Lagos, despite recent infidelity allegations against the musician. On Sunday evening, the DWW boss shared pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media. Wizkid, his colleague, sparked a commotion by tweeting "Lol [laughing out loud]" shortly after Davido revealed his pre-wedding pictures. According to some fans, the Starboy record label owner tweeted again on Monday morning, June 24, in what seemed to be a dig at his rivals, Davido.
On his X handle, Wizkid wrote:
Saying A Prayer For Every Understanding Woman On Earth! Your King Loves You.”
The tweet drew in contradiction comments, with many thinking that he was insulting Davido's soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been very patient with the musician despite adultery claims. Sophia Momodu, Davido's first baby mother, confirmed in a recent statement that she and the singer started the relationship between 2020 and 2022, which corresponded with the DMW leader wooing his fiancée, Chioma.
