Emeka Ugwuonye, May Edochie's lawyer, has disclosed that Yul Edochie severely abused his first wife following the death of their son, Kambili.
This information was revealed after Yvonne Jegede, an actress, made remarks about Yul being a deadbeat parent. In a video posted online, the lawyer cautioned Yul to cease
disparaging May in future interviews. He also threatened to expose Yul if he continued to mistreat his first wife. The lawyer went on to say that May had to seek protection from
courts due to Yul's violent behaviour following the death of their son.
