I’m still a member of PDP – Governor Fubara

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has stated that he is still a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). When a team of the PDP's Board of Trustees (BoTs), led by Chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara, paid him a visit at Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, the governor reaffirmed his commitment. He stated: "I'd like to thank the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees. To be honest, if I had any doubts about my initial membership in this great party, I believe I have received proof today that I am still a member of this party, regardless of the drama around it.

And I sincerely thank you for travelling to Rivers State to meet with the Governor and the party's supporters. I need to use that word sincerely since we are all members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). According to Governor Fubara, "for once, I am happy to see the leaders, among whom are some founding fathers of the PDP, like Chief Bode George, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, joining the delegation here to talk about the unity of the party."
