They should settle their rift, I have tried’ – Jude Okoye speaks amid Psquare feud
Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager of the popular music duo Psquare, revealed that he is done attempting to reconcile the ongoing quarrel between his younger twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye. Despite a temporary reconciliation in November 2021, the long-standing rift that caused the group to split up in 2017 has came back. The most recent fallout became public when Paul, also known as Rudeboy, accused Peter, aka Mr. P, of organising his detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.Peter has now denied the allegations, claiming that Jude transferred millions of dollars from their joint account to a private company.Fans have expressed their disgust in the escalating public dispute, begging Jude to act as a mediator rather than taking sides. However, during a recent Instagram Live session, Jude Okoye revealed his dissatisfaction at being continuously brought into his siblings' arguments. He said that he has tried everything he can to reunite the twins, even going so far as to "sacrifice himself" to bridge the gap.Jude Okoye stated: "These people [Peter and Paul] have children who are teenagers. If they lived in America, they would already be grandfathers. Why does Peter continually involve me in their fights? It was because he got the feeling that people always summoned Jude, the oldest one, to 'go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order'. "What do you mean by 'go put your family in order'? My family is organised. Allow them to put their family in order. Allow them to organise if they are doing business together. I tried until I sacrificed myself."
